springs winds and the hummingbirds
The days lately have brought plenty of strong spring winds ushering in summer and migrating birds among the most travelled are the hummingbirds. we've created this lovely suncatcher spinner in anticipation and celebration of the hummys this year.
Remember to plant lots of native species of flowers especially if the trumpet variety s hummingbirds absolutely love those. Keep insecticides out of the yard and have lots of places along the edge of your yard for hummingbirds to take shelter and hide if need be.. small trees that have lots of branches for them to sit in and bath in are very good for them as well as keeping your hummingbird feeders fresh and full. hummingbirds love to bathe do offer lots of water holes or a misting use they love misting hoses, and by your feeders keep dishes of old fruit and bananas perks do that fruit flies will accumulate because hummingbirds love to eat lots of summer bugs to get protein to help their feather growth and maintenance and muscle mass.
Enjoy these early days before the heat becomes unbearable.

it's almost market time and I'm still seeking ideas for setting up my booth. I've got tons of suncatchers two or three massive focal items I'll be showing you soon and my bag charms if which I'm hosting a diy charm bar in my booth so people can design their own . I'm still looking for special reusable bags that I will have specials geared toward items I sell as people bring them back to market to reuse them and I'm still hosting some master class ideas on making witches bells and mobiles as well as decorating planters and front porch ideas . I'll have fun word finding puzzles and color sheets for the kiddos as well as sun catcher stickers so they know their love of the farmers market and all it stands for is equally as important to us as their moms and dads.
