The beginning

 As I went through the few items I still had left at Vagabond Vintage after years of others staying with me, people stealing from me, people going through my things and leaving them dented or ruined and never telling me and I began the long work of closing down the antique store, I started finding a few prescious items that we're here from day one jewelry and some glassware and an old chandelier that had prisms hanging from it cut glass so beautifully done with a sparkled all over the basement where I was sitting with all the boxes in the dust I started imagining in my head the stories I was told about the grand ballroom but the jewelry was worn in the beautiful old southern Victorian house of the chandelier with the entryway of and I remember the old man and the old woman who brought the items into me once upon a time 20 years ago and I started thinking in my head the beautiful suncatchers and how they would spread the light and dry and happiness and in my mind I started building beautiful suncatcher was pieces from the necklace and a clip on earrings that the man's wife had worn to the ball where they found out that he was going to war and then she would be having to raise the beginning of the family without him and pieces of the chandelier different size prisms hanging down from they would catch the light and spread the love, the guy I had once heard all over the world and all over the home that would shine in the strength and the preservance that the original owners once had to take cover under... could be bounced back and brought back to life for somebody else to be able to use to add to their strength and perseverance and Lord knows in this day and age we all need a helping hand and I thought how beautiful would it be to take the best pieces of his items and join them together to make some wonderful art plant friends and stakes that you could put in your house plants or in your garden? beautiful chandeliers and chimes that would hang twinkling and bringing beautiful chime music when you want to  concentrate or meditate... sun catchers that you could hang in your windows that would bounce the sunlight all over your home to remind you of the sparks that you still had with him and all the beautiful energy that these peoples lives  embodied that pieces of ourselves get lost in all the items that we spread around and pour ourselves and life events  throughout our lifetimes into. it's time to blend it all together and bring another family forward or welcome a new  baby and let these wonderful legacies that live on in any way I can. I don't want to just box everything up and call it a day so something new was born something new became prism and lore exactly what I was creating out of the old prisms and stories of items i had surrounded myself by fanciful ideas now and was drawn into a a child.

Vagabond Vintage the old wore down antique shop was reborn and recreated into something outside of itself, a new chapter of existence. a new breath of air to keep it alive and quite possibly the most me part of this business it's ever been . and so that day forward it became the lorelight Atelier, an artist studio that stood the test of time and I became more of who I was supposed to be in my journey and the rebirth was more than just things and items that I surrounded myself with but it was my soul growing and becoming in my authentic self screaming to be heard.

I too had learned persevere ,My life had seen darker days I too need to spread my wings and fly but I too still had stories left to tell no it was not time to box everything up and put it on a shelf and walk away, it was time for a rebirth or recreation and in that I sure all these items with you as I begin to walk this journey.

 thank you for being here with me there's so much more you have to come enjoy looking around and I hope that you will find these items suitable for your home and I hope that you will contact me if you have ideas or want to see anything especially created for you because among everything that I am doing now I am very seriously making this a very personal exploration for all of us with every piece being bespoke and no pieces of ever going to be alike. Keep an eye out for us at the Independence Farmers market this spring as I and my partner who does amazing silk flower arrangements and amazing glass vase display art suitable for everyday living but also has some if the most beautiful floral arrangements and decor that would be stunning for weddings, parties and events.
